<p>I'll be at the Hillsborough County Democrat's booth at the fair. Stop by, say hello and let's talk about the future of Weare and Goffstown.</p>

<p>Our representatives are trying to pass laws that take away the power of towns to decide what’s best for their communities. That’s not the New Hampshire way.</p><p>An example of this is the School Spending Cap. This was debated and rejected in Goffstown and Weare (and several other towns). Our representatives decided they know better and passed a law to put this question on the ballot. </p><p>This is not local control.</p><p>We, the people of Goffstown and Weare, have already spoken. That is the purpose of Town Meeting, to decide local issues. We do not need Concord telling us what to do.</p><p>I will work to protect local control.</p>
