Local Control

Our representatives are trying to pass laws that take away the power of towns to decide what’s best for their communities. That’s not the New Hampshire way.

An example of this is the School Spending Cap. This was debated and rejected in Goffstown and Weare (and several other towns). Our representatives decided they know better and passed a law to put this question on the ballot.

This is not local control.

We, the people of Goffstown and Weare, have already spoken. That is the purpose of Town Meeting, to decide local issues. We do not need Concord telling us what to do.

I will work to protect local control.
